Color makes the home (from Manila Bulletin, Sunday Leisure page, Aug 28, 2004, edited by me)

Red. Red is the color of passion and excitement. It stimulates the sense of smell and taste, making it perfect for the kitchen and dining room.
As an ancient color, red can glow in small areas like hallways and passageways. Since it easily attracts the eye, it can be used as background for niches and the inside of cabinets.
